A registration is only necessary for tidal tours longer than 2 hours. Exceptions are tours with dogs and groups. Please register. All other tours are without registration.
Please be so kind and print out our map. Some official beaches have no street names and are difficult to find.
Please look at our dates. Please pay attention to the fact that some of our official beaches are poorly marked.
Yes, we have it! Please be aware that clothes, especially those of children, could be stained by mud. Remember to take additional clothes for kids with you.
Unstable weather conditions are typical in our region. Please don’t forget protection against intensive sun exposure especially for face, hat and shoulders. In case of wind and/or rain please bring appropriate warm clothes.
If the temperature is more than 13 °C it is best to walk barefoot in the tidal flats. In case of health problems or fear of mussel cuts linen shoes or rubber boots should be worn.
Kids in the tidal flats
Children older than 6 can participate in all tidal flat tours of up to 2 hours in duration. The children’ s tidal flat tour is especially for families with kids between 3 and 10. Children older than 12 years are suited for the big tidal flat tours e.g. Blauortsand-, Bielshövensand-, Ossengoot-tour.
A tidal tour is healthy but can be exhausting. People with heart and circulation problems should not participate in a tour in the tidal flats. In case you need medication, make sure that you have it with you.
All tidal tours are canceled in case of thunderstorm, fog or storm!
